University Partnership Program

Airline Visions is currently partnered with the University of the West Indies (UWI)
in the development of a new Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree program in
Aviation Management.

The M.Sc. in Aviation Management has been developed in response to industry
need and is designed to emphasize the application of modern management
concepts, methods and tools to the challenges of the aviation industry and
business in general. The curriculum is designed to provide graduates capable of
discharging the senior management responsibilities of this dynamic and rapidly
changing industry.


The M.Sc. in Aviation Management is a forty two (42)-credit programme
comprised as follows:

Business Core Courses (18 credits)

AM 606 – Operations Research/Management Science (3 credits)
MS 60B – Business Research Methodology (3 credits)
AM 625 – Accounting for Business Decisions (3 credits)
AM 628 – Airline Financial Management (3 credits)
AM 622 – Organizational Behaviour (3 credits)
AM 633 – Strategic Management (3 credits)

Applications in Aviation Courses (15 credits)

AM 620 – Strategic Marketing Management in Aviation (3 credits)
AM 621 – Information Technology Management (3 credits)
AM 626 – Advanced Aviation Economics (3 credits)
AM 641 – Airline Operations Management (3 credits)
AM 645 – Airport Operations and Management (3 credits)

Internship/Project Report (6 credits)

Students must complete an internship and submit a professional report
pertaining thereto. This will be worth 6 credits. The applicable courses here are
AM 690 – Graduate Research Project and AM 696 – Graduate Internship in
Aviation.
Electives (3 credits)

Students must select one (1) course from among the courses listed below. Each
of these courses is worth 3 credits:

AM 630 – Airline Marketing
AM 637 – Aviation Law and Insurance
AM 639 – Airline/Airport Relations
AM 643 – Quality Management in Airline Operations
MS 62B – Strategic Human Resource Management
AM 644 – Aviation Labour Relations
